In April 2016, the city of Seoul determined the master plan for the re-development of the Jamsil Sports Complex. The Jamsil Sports & MICE Complex Infrastructure Development project is divided into a public and private sector of which the private sector will feature an integrated exhibition and convention area.
The entire MICE complex is themed “mega”, “high-tech” and “eco-friendly” and comprises a total gross floor area of approx. 300,000 sqm. Besides exhibition area of 100,000 sqm, the convention area with amount to16,000 sqm, congress hall of 4,000 sqm and retail facilities of 6,000 sqm.
